Spare time antics..

I think one thing i love about art is when i find myself just doing it in my spare time, no relation to my uni project or anything, just doing art because i love it.
And trust me, it varies. As you can see! From attempting my own henna, to random elephant drawings. After doing my uni project at the moment, i find myself panicking every now and then that i have forgotten how to draw realistically! (not just roughly from observation how i have been).
So yeah, my advice, always draw! Always be inspired.

I have now started drawing the trees, just ones that I see outside my window, on walks, or that I go and take photographs of (however I prefer to do them on the spot, from real life, as thats how I have previously been drawing, i feel it allows you to draw more freely).
Working on from this i might start to think about transforming them into wire forms… Like i have done with my lightbulb. The trees provide me with so much more variety, so will create lots of different styled wire trees, contrasting quite a lot really with my routine shaped light bulbs.

Pretty Trees and Romantic Skies

A reoccurring obsession of mine when walking home after uni is taking endless photos of the sky and leafless trees. The sky transforms into these romantic pastel coloured shades of pink and blue, which so nicely rests as a background for the delicate outline of the melancholic trees.

A song I think that goes nicely with these photos is this. 'Berlin' by 'RY X'.
